Nicasio Design is proud to announce the soft launch of the newest social networking site on the web; Let’s Reflect.com!

Users will be able to jot down their daily reflections on [well] whatever they want to reflect on. The fascinating part of this site is that it can redefine the scope of social networking in that it invites users to interact in an environment where they can enjoy the anonymity of the web and the personal approach to expressing themselves to the world.

Let’s Reflect.com features a completely customizable profile. You can create and edit your own profile sections, create blog entries, upload a custom avatar, custom profile background, and have custom font colors! All in a Web2.0 framework.

This site is in its infancy. By creating a profile and taking part in the site now you can ensure that your voice will be heard in new developments regarding the site’s future.

Let’s Reflect.com is based out of Savannah, GA and is designed, developed and maintained by Nicasio Design & Development.

Check it out!

I took the family on vacation to the Dominican Republic this year; a working vacation that is. Lessons learned:

1 - Trust your home-based team to be able to cover for you.
2 - Plan for travel delays.
3 - Don’t assume your cell phone will work outside the US.
4 - It is OK to walk away from BlackBerry for half a day.
5 - Never travel without a flash drive.
6 - Convert cash to travel country currency before you leave US.
7 - Many 3rd world countries DO NOT have free hot spots.
8 - Arrange to have grass cut.
9 - Never stop asking wife to travel light.
10 - Gauge yourself - before and after vacation and learn to stay refreshed long after your return.

Have a great week all -
Felix

What is speed networking? I am glad you asked. Well, for the most part it is much like speed dating; not that I have partaken in speed dating, but from what I have seen ;0 )

Here is a brief article about a speed networking event that took place here in Savannah a few days ago. It was pretty intense. I walked away with about 4 viable leads. And I must admit - it was fun trying to communicate what Nicasio does in 45 seconds.

Check out the article.
